Leathers Wear is a Shopify store committed to a secure and transparent checkout process. We use Shopify Payments to handle all transactions. This policy explains our accepted payment methods, when payments are charged, the refund process, and our security measures. All orders ship free of charge within the U.S., so no shipping or handling fees are added at checkout.

Accepted Payment Methods

Credit & Debit Cards: We accept major cards including Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, and Diner’s Club (processed via Shopify Payments).

Digital Wallets: Google Pay, Apple Pay and Shop Pay are available as accelerated checkout options.

Payment Timing

Payment Authorization: We charge your selected payment method at the time of purchase. Shopify Payments automatically captures the transaction when you place the order. This means your credit/debit card or other payment option is charged immediately upon checkout, without delay.

Free Shipping: We do not charge any shipping fees; the order total at checkout reflects the merchandise cost only.

Refunds

Refunds to Original Method: All refunds are issued to the original payment method used for the purchase. Once we process a refund, the amount will be credited back to your account.

Expired or Replaced Cards: If the original card has expired or been replaced, the refund will be applied to your new card or account as handled by your bank.

Security and Compliance

SSL Encryption: Leathers Wear uses Shopify’s built-in TLS/SSL encryption for all pages and transactions. This encrypts customer data during transmission, ensuring that payment information stays private and secure (indicated by the padlock icon during checkout).

PCI DSS Compliance: Shopify is certified Level 1 PCI DSS compliant, and this compliance extends by default to our store. We adhere to industry-standard security protocols to protect all payment card data.

Fraud Protection: Shopify Payments includes advanced fraud detection and 3D Secure for transactions. These measures help safeguard your purchase and give additional assurance that payments are processed safely.
